Is chowing down on one pack of Ding-Dongs going to kill you?
Is eating one well-balanced whole foods meal going to cure you?
Is eating one reduced calorie meal going to cause you to drop weight?
It’s easy for us to fixate on one meal, one workout, one day, but significant change doesn’t come from those things.
Anything significant takes time, and that stinks because we all want instant gratification, but that doesn’t change things.
Want to lose weight, it’s going to take weeks and months. If you have a great meal, or a great workout, congratulations, keep going, you’ll need to do it again and again. If you have a bad meal, or skip a workout, it’s not the end of the world, and in fact won’t make that much of a difference in the grand scheme of weeks, months, and years (this is NOT however an excuse to be half-hearted about things).
It’s less about what you do, and more about what you do over and over.
